Trichloroethylene has been used as a refined extractant of methoxychemicalbook phthalate, a pharmaceutical intermediate, in recent years. Other consumption areas of trichloroethylene in China include expanding agents and unsaturated resin coatings, accounting for about 5%; Dry cleaning agents and refrigerants, etc., account for about 10%.
