Amino Trimethylene Phosphonic Acid (ATMP)

ATMP is chemically stable in water and not easily hydrolyzed. At high concentration in water, amino trimethylene phosphonic acid has a good corrosion inhibition effect. ATMP is used in thermal power plants, oil refineries circulating cooling water, oil field reinjection water system. Amino trimethylene phosphonic acid can play a role in reducing corrosion and scaling of metal equipment or pipelines. ATM is used as metal ion chelator in textile, printing and dyeing industries, and can also be used as metal surface treatment agent.
